Our story
Why we built Jengo
We built Jengo because the rent-collection software we used was either imported from the US (and didn't know what M-Pesa was), or it was built for spreadsheets-on-WhatsApp landlords who never wanted to upgrade. We wanted a third option: a real product, with M-Pesa as a first-class citizen, that doesn't pretend Kenya is just another country on a map.
