1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Jengo PMS ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Jengo is a property management platform that allows landlords and property managers to manage properties, tenants, leases, invoices, and payments.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the next billing date. All fees are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious code, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to other tenants' data.
6. Data ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. We retain ownership of the platform, code, and aggregated anonymised analytics.
7. Service availability
We target 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jengo's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms with immediate effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
