Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Jengo PMS ('we', 'us', 'our') is a property management platform operated from Nairobi, Kenya.

2. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, phone number, role.

Property data: addresses, unit details, lease information, tenant contact details that you upload.

Payment data: M-Pesa transaction references, bank payment references. We do not store full card numbers.

Usage data: logins, IP address, browser type, pages visited.

3. How we use information

To deliver the Service, send transactional emails and reminders, prevent fraud and abuse, improve product quality, and meet our legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We share only with: (a) processors who help us run the Service (hosting, email, SMS, payments); (b) authorities when legally required; (c) your tenants and property owners as required by the workflow.

We never sell your data.

5. Data security

Each client account has its own isolated database schema. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Integration credentials are encrypted at rest.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for the duration of the subscription and for 90 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@jengo.co.ke. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

9. International transfers

Some processors may host data outside Kenya. Where this happens, we ensure adequate data-protection safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We will notify you by email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
